CMT Entry Level Technician

Certification Requirements:

None

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

Within one year, by nature of aptitude or opportunity, gain proficiency and general basic operating knowledge of:
1. Lab and field concrete testing
2. Reinforcing Steel Inspection
3. Pier Inspection
4. Proctor soil sampling
5. Technical writing
6. Blue prints
7. Gain ACI Certification

CMT Senior Level Technician

Certification Requirements:

Radiation Safety Course
American Concrete Institute Grade 1

Desired, but not required:
NICET Level II Certification; Soils, Concrete, Asphalt

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Perform most all CMT field and lab functions
2. Train Jr. staff members
3. Find and accurately utilize without help any and all required information in test standards or project construction documents for completion of task
4. Perform occasional office/clerical tasks as required
